Welcome to all NEW staff in the Sandhurst Diocese

 It is custom in our Diocese to formally welcome all New staff in schools to Sandhurst. This takes the form of 'Welcome Evenings' in Bendigo, Shepparton and Wangaratta. Teachers new to Sandhurst, Graduate Teachers  and other staff are invited to attend the session that is most suitable to them in terms of timing and distance to travel. 

The aim for teachers is to get to know other teachers new to the area and to introduce tem to CEO Staff who will be working in their schools and will be able to support them in their work.

WHO: Primary and Secondary Teachers in their SECOND YEAR of teaching  (Places also available for other teachers in their first 5 years of teaching at Principal’s discretion)

WHY: To expose early years teachers to the best practices and understandings underpinning effective literacy learning in the classroom

Outline of the Day:

COMBINED SESSIONS – all participants will participate in these!

Please note that early registration is required so that staff can be organised around workshop requirements - registrations close at 4pm on Friday 2 March
