Unit Outline:

In this unit students will explore the role of the Spirit in the mission of the Church. They will reflect upon Pentecost as a special feast of the Church for people who celebrate and proclaim the message of Jesus.

Achievement Standards:

By the end of Year 4, students should be able to:
Identify the Church as a community that celebrates the life and work of Jesus.

Unit Outcomes:

By the end of the unit students should be able to:

Identify how the presence of the Holy Spirit was experienced in the Early Church.
Explain how the Holy Spirit is present in the Church today.
Identify ways the Holy Spirit is present in all members of the Church.
