Welcome to Catholic Education Sandhurst Limited

We are situated in Central and North Eastern Victoria, delivering professional support for our 58 school and Early Childhood communities. We are committed to working in partnership with schools, students and families, providing innovation and excellence in education; inspired by the Catholic story.

Acknowledgment of Country, Inclusion & Healing

We acknowledge and pay respect to the original and ongoing custodians of the land upon which our offices are situated.  We commit to actively working alongside First Nations people for healing, reconciliation and justice. The Catholic education faith community is inclusive and acknowledges that we are all made in the image and likeness of God and we are created in love. People of all faiths, genders, sexualities, abilities and cultures are therefore respected equally in the Sandhurst Catholic community. We acknowledge the pain and suffering of all who have been hurt in body, mind and spirit by those who have betrayed the trust placed in them. May we all stand tall, stand firm, grounded in truth, together as one.

Catholic Education Sandhurst Limited is committed to the safety, participation and empowerment of all children.

It is with great excitement that we announce the appointment of Ms Kate Fogarty to the role of Executive Director of Catholic Education Sandhurst commencing January 2024.

The current Principal of Assumption College Kilmore will be well known to many in the Diocese of Sandhurst, having previously served as Principal of St Joseph’s College Echuca (2009 - 2014) and Director of Catholic Identity at Catholic College Bendigo (now Catherine McAuley College) from 2006–2008.

Kate’s educational background, personal capabilities, experience, and expertise ensure that she is well placed to lead Catholic education in the Diocese of Sandhurst into the future.

Kate will take over the reins from Mr Paul Desmond, who will retire at the end of 2023 after nine years at the helm. During his time as Executive Director, Paul has led the Catholic Education Sandhurst community with humility, foresight and courage. His legacy, among many other aspects, will be his leadership during the incorporation of CES Ltd.

We look forward to welcoming Kate back to Sandhurst and to acknowledging and thanking Paul Desmond for his leadership and vision later in the year.
